Rentals

Essential in the evaluation of equipment selection and sizing, DAGEX provides clients with the availability of certain pilot units on a rental basis with the option to purchase. Should pilot units supplied meet performance expectation within the minimum site test period of three (3) months, all rental monies for that period shall be applied towards purchase price.

Step Screen

Step Screen

The unique Step Screen principle means that solid waste particles in the fluid actually contribute to the screening process.  The solid waste particles are collected on the screen's surface to form a solid layer of screenings (carpet).  It is the carpet of screenings which actually carries out the screening process.  In this way, a screening effect is reached which is many times greater than that provided by the actual slot width.  Using the screen's upward circular movements, the screening are conveyed step by step up the screen's uniquely shaped laminas (blades).  Every second lamina performs synchronized circular motion, which ensures unique simultaneous effect of space cleaning between two adjacent laminae (eliminating any external cleaning devices like wipers or brushes). The screenings are then fed out at the step's upper edge for further conveyance.

Toveko Continuous Sand Filter

Toveko Continuous Sand Filter

This continuous upstream Sand Filter was developed to provide an economical and technically simple way to reduce the final contaminant levels in treated effluent at industrial and municipal plants.  The equipment is designed to work at high efficiency with a minimum of attention and having low capital and operating costs.  The key aspect of this compact filter design is its ability to continuously wash the sand without any interruption in filtration or loss of efficiency due to the presence of a backwash mode typical of intermittent filters.  This is accomplished by forcing the raw water to flow downwards into the base of the filter bed, rise up through the sand, exiting as clean filtrate water at the top of the filter.  Solids adhering to the filter media are brought to the surface for cleaning via an airlift integrated with a sand classifier, which performs the actual sand wash operation.  Clean sand is then returned via sand return chute to the surface of the sand filter bed thus ensuring a controlled accumulation and removal of solids in a continuous countercurrent process of downward migrating of media contacts upward flowing dirty water.

Filter Press

Filter Press

This manual plate shifting Filter Press with a hydraulic capacity of  10gpm (1 cu.ft. volume) is of heavy-duty construction A-36 steel that is finished with polyurethane enamel topcoat.  Side rail assemblies add support for the filter plate stack, which consist of one (1) head, one (1) tail and five (5) intermediates.  Plates are model FRP with integrated stainless steel handles and are pressure/ pH / temperature resistant.  Also included is a set of Polypropylene Duplex press cloth c/w corner holes, center gusset, andgrommets.  This fully portable Filter Press comes complete with feed and filtrate manifolding and cake or drip-tray if required.

Spin Clean Filter

Spin Clean Filter

The Spin Clean Filter is a proven reliable filtration system that employs a woven laminated stainless steel screen as the filter media and offers filtration in the horizontal and vertical planes.  Incoming dirty water is forced through a directional nozzle plate onto the inside of the screen and creates a centrifugal action which rotates debris down the screen wall to the large debris holding  basin.  Spinning action keeps more of the screen area clean, minimizing pressure loss due to excessive dirt build-up.  Debis is then flushed out via a ball valve.  The filter can be made self-cleaning by constantly bleeding contaminates through the flush valve that has been set slightly open.

Backwashable Micro Filter

Backwashable Micro Filter

This Backwashable Filter is capable of separating solids from liquids by microfiltration.  The filtered fluid travels through ridged micropaths designed into the hollow disc structure.  Accumulated debris is washed away from the disc as required via an automatic backwash.  The surface openings are now completely rejuvenated and ready to begin the filtration process again.

The cone bottom Backwashable Micro Filter complete with valves and air tubing are constructed of 304 stainless steel.  The raw feed, dirty reject, clean effluent and air blow-down porting are also included with filter, in addition to a set of either 5, 10, 20 or 40-micron Telfon™ filter media discs, which can be used in combination with precoats and other granular medias for optiomal performance.
