This industrial application has heavy metals contamination in the wastewater and therefore, treatment consisted of reduction of chromium, zinc, nickel, cadmium or copper, cyanide treatment, neutralisation, precipitation and flocculation, plate settling, sand filtration through a our Continuous Sand Filter, recovery of heavy metal from both the plate settler and our Continuous Sand Filter, and finally pressure filtration and drying of the heavy metal residual.
